This is a 1985 Jeep CJ7 with a 258 IL6 and automatic transmission. I haven't had it long since I recently purchased it on ebay and have nowhere to keep it. I will try to provide as accurate information as possible.

Mechanical:

Engine runs strong and steady; starts right up. Transmission shifts fine. Needs likage adjustment as starts only in neutral. 4X4 works well.

Body:

Some rust through at rear floor panels. No rust through front floor pans. Previous owner changed rocker panels and floor pans. Hard top in good shape. Full hard doors with windows that roll down well.

Chassis has rust;: mostly toward rear and needs rear crossmember replaced.

I installed new muffler and tailpipe and have a replacement gearbox for the jeep.

Overall, great project vehicle which apparently has been lacking TLC.
