This Jeep is in great condition for its age and would make a great everyday driver or project Jeep. Original 258 inline 6 with T-4 transmission. I had the stock engine and transmission totally rebuilt in 2001 and have put less then 20,000 miles on it since then. It still has the original 258 inline 6 cylinder and it was bored .020" over upon the rebuild. It runs strong and it is so fun to drive! The 4 wheel drive works great. The top is a Bestop Supertop and I also purchased it in 2001 along with all three seats, also Bestop. I did a little bit of body work and had it painted then also. Visually, the paint still looks really good, but there is a little rust in the usual places all Jeeps get rust but it is pretty minimal. I bought the Jeep in 2000 and drove it everyday as my primary vehicle until 2004. It was then garage kept until last summer and I have driven it weekly since then. The odometer reads in the 90,000 mile range. K&N Air Filter and Flowmaster 40 Series Exhaust. American Racing Wheels & the 32x11.50 Bridgestone Duelers are a little less than half tread.
